Edwin van de Haar is an independent scholar who specializes in the liberal tradition in international political theory. Among others he is the author of Classical Liberalism and International Relations Theory. Hume, Smith, Mises and Hayek (2009) and Degrees of Freedom. Liberal Political Philosophy and Ideology (2015). His new book, Human Nature & World Affairs. An Introduction to Classical Liberalism and International Relations Theory, will be published by the Institute of Economic Affairs in June 2023.
