Hans Zeiger is president of the Jack Miller Center, a national network of political scholars, historians, and civics teachers committed to teaching the American political tradition. He previously served for a decade as a Washington state legislator. Zeiger was the 2015 co-recipient of the Gabrielle Giffords Award for Civility in State Governance from the National Institute for Civil Discourse.
