Jacqueline Pfeffer Merrill is director of the Campus Free Expression Project at the Bipartisan Policy Center. Previously, she was executive director of the Fund for Academic Renewal, a program of the American Council of Trustees and Alumni, and served on the faculties of St. John's College (Annapolis) and the College of William & Mary.
