John von Heyking is Professor of Political Science at the University of Lethbridge (Canada). He is author of The Form of Politics: Aristotle and Plato on Friendship (2016), Comprehensive Judgement and Absolute Selflessness: Winston Churchill on Friendship (2018), and, most recently, co-editor of Wherefrom Does History Emerge?: Inquiries in Political Cosmogony (2020).
