Mark Dooley is an Irish philosopher, journalist, and widely published author. He is the former John Henry Newman Scholar in Theology at University College Dublin, where he also taught philosophy for ten years. From 2003–2018, he was a columnist with the Sunday Independent and Irish Daily Mail. His most recent book is Roger Scruton: The Philosopher on Dover Beach - An Intellectual Biography. He is Sir Roger Scruton’s literary executor.
