Nicole Williams is a History PhD candidate at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland. Previously, she was employed as the First District Council Liaison with the City Council of Richmond, Virginia and as a Parliamentary Caseworker within the British Parliament. Her current research focus is on the cultural history of Scots-Irish in the Carolinas.
