With all due respect, our Founding Fathers recognized that only The True God can endow us with our unalienable Rights, as evidence by the fact that they did not refer to god, or G-D, in The Declaration Of Independence, but rather they referred to Nature’s God, with the capital G, The Most Holy And Undivided Blessed Trinity, (Treaty Of Paris that ended The War Of Independence, The God who rules over both Private and Public Morality, and thus all Natural Law, The Author Of Love, Of Life, And Of Marriage.

Love, which is always rightly ordered to the inherent personal and relational Dignity of the persons existing in a relationship of Love, is devoid of lust.

It is the denial of The Unity Of The Holy Ghost that has led to a form of progressive christianity, that denies the fact that there is only One Son Of God, One Word Of God Made Flesh, One Lamb Of God Who Can Taketh Away The Sins Of The World, Our Only Savior, Jesus The Christ, and if you do not know Who He Is, first and foremost, you will not know His Father.

A progressive christian is one who desires to create a god in their own image, and thus deny the very essence of God, The Ordered Communion Of Perfect Complementary Love, The Most Holy And Undivided Blessed Trinity, Through The Unity Of The Holy Ghost. We can know through both Faith and reason, and thus The Law Of Noncontradiction, that a progressive christian who denies Christ’s teaching on sexual morality, grounded in respect for the inherent Dignity of all persons ipso facto, separates himself/herself from Christ and His One, Holy, Catholic, And Apostolic Church. Thus a “progressive”, christian, is one, who in denying The Laws Of Nature, in regards to sexual morality, necessarily denies Nature’s God, ipso facto, separating oneself from Christ, and thus the purpose of our unalienable Rights, that do not come from Caesar, King John, or John Locke.

It is not our experience, History, or Philosophy, or argument regarding our experience, History, and Philosophy that has endowed us with our inherent, unalienable Rights, but The God Who Created us equal in Dignity, while being complementary as a beloved son or daughter, and Willed us worthy of Redemption.

It is a self evident truth that an Unalienable Right is an inherent Right that can not be relinquished even if we so desire.

Mr. Will, with all due respect, you are simply mistaken to suggest that our Founding Fathers did not believe that God Is The Author of our unalienable Rights, just as you are mistaken to blame Faithful Catholics for the heinous sexual abuse crisis, the bullying and harrassment of young men in various seminaries, and the cover up that contributed to the heinous abuse crisis.

While there may be varying degrees of being conservative, depending on what one desires to conserve, only “The Truth Of Love can set us free.”

There Is, however, only One Way, One Truth, One Life (Light) of Love.

“When God Is denied, human Dignity disappears.” Pope Benedict XVI

Slavery, like abortion, and reordering man according to sexual desire/inclination/orientation, all objectify the human person and in denying the personhood of every beloved son or daughter, deny our inherent Right to Life, to Liberty, and to The Pursuit of Happiness.

Our Inalienable Rights are based on the facts of reality. Just like the Law of Gravity is based on the facts of reality and the Law of Identity. For more details I recommend you read "The Philosophy of Objectivism: a Brief Summary" By Dr. Leonard Peikoff at: http://anthemfoundation.org/for-professors/objectivism-brief-summary.html.
