He is a Senior Editor of Law & Liberty and a Professor of History at Harvard University. He’s one of the world’s experts on the Italian Renaissance and the humanism of the Italian Renaissance and is the author of the much-lauded, highly-reviewed book Virtue Politics: Soulcraft and Statecraft in Renaissance Italy.
