Relief in Sight

Informal reviews of The Upside-Down Constitution, obtained in the course of a recent promotion tour, have ranged from “tough going” to “the most depressing book I’ve read in years.” Oh, well.

Very fine reviews in print include, in addition to Ramesh Ponnuru’s (link no longer available) piece (flagged earlier), Richard Reinsch’s riff (from the Intercollegiate Review) and an extended disquisition by Robert R. Gasaway, who understands the work a lot better than I myself do.
